This search engine is based on a late edition of the Brabourne collection of Jane Austen's letters, with restored text where Brabourne censored some of Austen's wit, and will display letter dates, then paragraphs, in which the search term is found. Most of the letters are to Cassandra. Some are to Fanny Knight or Anna Lefroy and are marked accordingly. At some point, I will add a link to the whole, relevant, letter.
